Shazia
Shazia knew from an early age she had the ability to draw. But it was the ability to remember and learn by heart details that became the future benchmark of the work she now produces.
At school Shazia was taught by great art teachers, their nurturing and kind devotion helped provide the inspiration to further her potential as an artist. She completed a foundation course in art and design, followed by a degree in Graphic Design, specialising in illustration.
After this she went backpacking around Latin America and Africa. This played a pivotal role in her work, giving her the freedom to develop her own ideas in her own time. On returning to the UK, Shazia briefly worked in a design studio and then became a freelancer before starting a family and becoming a full-time artist.
